Camden Community Radio has a regular Drop in on Saturdays from 11am to 3.30pm, at Maiden Lane Community Centre, which is just off Agar Grove, at 156 St Paul’s Road, NW1 9XZ.
We can show you the basics of making radio packages and you can join in with whatever is on the go, or you may already have skills and your own ideas for packages or shows you would like to produce for Camden Community Radio. Let us know in advance if you are planning to come along for the first time by contacting email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Our Base: Camden Community Radio is a diverse group and people of all ages, backgrounds and interests. We are all volunteers and you are welcome to join in the same capacity. We support the ethos of community radio which serves the local and the wider community. We use recording facilities provided by the Maiden Lane Community Centre and IT facilities provided there through Camden Council’s UK Online centre.
Recording and Broadcasting Studio:
We record the weekly ‘What’s on In Camden’ and other ‘as live’ programmes at the centre. We also produce Camden Newscast every month from short packages that are produced by members of the Camden Newscast team. You can join existing teams and learn with them, or you may have ideas for new programmes.
All programmes go on the CCRadio podsite.
We are now planning programmes for the coming year, so this is a good time to share your ideas with us.
If you have production skills, presenter skills or would just like to start learning by working with us, please get in touch telling us what you want to do as well as what you can already do.
There are no right answers. The questions just help us to get to know you.
We are also interested in local talent to participate in arts magazine shows.
